Mobile number portability in Kenya

Mobile number portability is the process of porting our mobile  number from one mobile  network provider to another. we may want to do this if we wish to sign up to a new mobile  provider and keep your original mobile number, thus saving you the inconvenience of updating your contacts with your new telephone number. Mobile number porting is becoming increasingly popular worldwide due to the savings that can be made by switching mobile phone providers in order to get a better mobile  tariff.

Modem

A modem (modulator-demodulator) is a device that modulates an analog carrier signal to encode digital information, and also demodulates such a carrier signal to decode the transmitted information. The goal is to produce a signal that can be transmitted easily and decoded to reproduce the original digital data. Modems can be used over any means of transmitting analog signals, from driven diodes to radio.
